APIARY
.The story of our honey production begins with the apiary set at the heart of our property, where our beehives can be seen working around the clock to produce honey derived from the vast acres of flora that surround them on our land. What we had initially started years ago as a pair of beehives has now grown into an intricate network of hives where we actively work to monitor their production and ensure that the bees are happy and healthy amongst themselves and the vast array of wildflowers and plant life that surround them.
When the time comes to collect honey from the hives, we strive to ensure the environment is minimally disruptive for the bees, utilizing extraction techniques that allow for the delicate wax combs to remain undisturbed once uncapped. Our beekeeping and honey harvesting techniques are minimally invasive to ensure that we do not damage the hives or harm the bees, allowing us to harvest high-quality honey without disturbing or causing stress to our hives.
We are very proud to be members of the Vermont Beekeepers Association, and take great pride in our work as we strive to cultivate an environment for our bees that allows us to not only provide you with great tasting honey, but also support our complex and beautiful ecosystem here in Vermont.
